Drafts only — always
Listings created through Elistit always land in your Etsy shop as drafts. You review the listing in Etsy’s shop manager, edit anything you want to change, and click publish yourself. This is both Etsy’s requirement and ours — the publish decision stays with you.
Connecting your Etsy shop
- Go to Settings → Integrations and click Connect Etsy shop
- You’ll be redirected to Etsy to authorise the connection
- Once connected, every completed Elistit project automatically creates a draft listing in your shop
You can disconnect at any time from Settings → Integrations.
What about Etsy compliance?
Every listing generated by Elistit includes a default “About this listing” disclosure section that complies with Etsy’s AI content disclosure policy. You can edit the disclosure to match your shop’s voice before publishing. See the AI Disclosure Guide for the full template and policy framing.

FAQ
Does Elistit ever auto-publish a listing to Etsy? No. Every listing created via the Etsy API lands in your shop as a draft. You review it on Etsy and click publish yourself.
Will direct publish cost extra credits? No. The Etsy API draft creation step uses listing data already produced as part of the pipeline. Credits are charged for image generation and listing copy production only.
Can I still use Elistit without connecting Etsy? Yes. If you prefer not to connect your shop, every project still delivers a complete listing data file and your files via Google Drive. You can paste the listing copy into Etsy manually.
What if Etsy disconnects or the connection expires? Elistit will notify you in-app if the Etsy connection needs to be re-authorised. Projects complete normally — the Drive folder and listing data are always delivered regardless of Etsy connection status.
