The raster-trace approach

Generate PNG → trace to SVG.

Most AI "SVG" tools generate a raster image and run it through an auto-tracer. The result is technically an SVG, but it's full of thousands of approximate path nodes, often megabytes in size, and breaks when you try to recolour fills or simplify geometry in Illustrator. Buyers can't edit it. Cricut Design Space chokes on the path count.

Result: a file that looks like an SVG and behaves like a raster.

What Elistit does

Generate vector geometry directly.

We use a model trained to output SVG path data — clean Bézier curves, grouped layers, named shapes. No raster intermediate, no trace artefacts.
