Bring Your Own Art (BYOA) — uploading your existing designs
Already have artwork? Skip generation and run your own files through Elistit's upscale, processing, and listing pipeline at a flat credit cost.
Not every piece needs to be AI-generated. If you already have artwork — your own illustrations, scanned originals, files from another tool, or stock you’re licensed to resell — BYOA mode runs it through the same Elistit pipeline (upscale → process → listing → optional Etsy draft) without generating anything new.
Where to find it
Go to Create → Bring Your Own Art at /create/byoa, or click the BYOA toggle from any wall art / poster / clipart launch screen.

BYOA pricing is flat — no model picker, no per-image credit menu, no tier selection. The quality settings are fixed internally to “creator”.
File requirements
Wall art / poster
- One image, PNG or JPG.
- Aspect ratio must match the format: wall art is 3:4 or 4:3, poster is 2:3 or 3:2. See the aspect ratio guide.
- Minimum recommended resolution: 1024px on the short side. Smaller images still work but the upscale has less to work with.
Clipart
- 1-30 images, PNG only (transparent or opaque).
- Each image runs through the upscale chain separately.
- Transparency declaration: the upload form asks “does your art already have a transparent background?” Tick it if yes. Untick if no.
- If you tick “no transparency”, Elistit runs background removal before upscale.
- The form auto-detects transparency by probing corner pixels — usually right, but you can override.
What runs after upload
Wall art and poster (BYOA)
- Project launches at status
GENERATED(no generation step ran). - Upscale: AlexGenovese ×10 on Replicate.
- Local SmartCrop → ratio variants at 300 DPI (wall art) or print-ready poster (poster).
- ZIP → Google Drive → listing writing → optional Etsy draft.
Clipart (BYOA)
- Project launches at status
PROCESSING. - If you declared no transparency, WaveSpeed background removal runs first.
- ESRGAN 4× alpha-aware upscale.
- 300 DPI metadata stamp.
- Awaiting approval gate (same as AI clipart).
- ZIP → Drive → listing → Etsy draft.
What BYOA does not do
- No idea/brief/prompt generation — you provided the art, Elistit doesn’t try to “improve” it.
- No mockup generation by default. You can run the standalone mockup tool afterward.
- No image regeneration — if you don’t like the upscale result, the credits are spent.
