Draft Listing Creation
Coming Soon: Direct Etsy draft listing creation is pending Etsy API approval. The workflow described below outlines what this feature will do once approved. In the meantime, Elistit produces your complete listing data (title, tags, description) as a downloadable file you can upload to Etsy manually.
When you complete a project in Elistit, the workflow produces a complete listing data package — including print-ready files, mockup images, and AI-generated listing copy — ready for you to review and upload to Etsy.
What Gets Included
- Digital files — your upscaled, print-ready images in the sizes you selected
- Listing images — mockups and preview images for your Etsy listing gallery
- Title — an SEO-optimized title generated from your project
- Description — a buyer-facing description with print instructions and product details
- Tags — up to 13 Etsy tags optimized for search visibility
- Category — set to the appropriate Etsy digital download category
How It Will Work
Once Etsy API access is approved, the workflow will look like this:
- Complete your project (generate, upscale, create mockups)
- Click Create Listing Draft
- Review the generated title, description, and tags
- Edit any fields you want to customize
- Click Create Draft Listing
The listing will appear in your Etsy shop manager as a draft. It will never be published automatically — you will always have the final say.
Until then, your listing data is available as a downloadable file. Copy the title, description, and tags into Etsy's listing editor manually.
Editing Before Publishing
Once a draft is in Etsy, you can make any additional changes in your Etsy shop manager:
- Adjust pricing
- Add to a shop section
- Modify the description or tags
- Reorder listing images
- Set shipping profiles (digital delivery is pre-configured)
Listing Copy Quality
The AI-generated listing copy is designed to be a strong starting point, not a final draft. It follows Etsy SEO best practices:
- Titles lead with the primary keyword and include relevant attributes
- Descriptions address buyer questions (what is included, print sizes, how to print)
- Tags cover a mix of broad and specific search terms
Review and personalize the copy to match your shop's voice and brand.

- Your project must have at least one upscaled image
- You need available credits for the listing data generation
